How to Upload Photos

You can use any of the photo hosting websites to host your photo and then simply add the BB Code to link/post your photo on the forum. Below is a how-to for several of the photo hosting websites. If you are uploading a photo for the JOTM contest, your image must be at least 800 pixels in width or height.

IMGBB - free

1. Go to https://imgbb.com/
2. Sign in or create a free account
3. Drag and drop a pic (or hit Start Uploading and select file)
4. Then hit Upload when you see a thumbnail of your pic
5. Now you will see "Upload complete" with a thumbnail of your pic.
6. Click on the Embed Codes icon, select BBCode Full. Now copy the full line including the [img] tags. Paste the text in your thread.

FLICKR - limited free account

1. Go to https://www.flickr.com
2. Find the photo that you want to upload and click on it.
3. You should see the photo with icons in the lower right.
4. Click on the "Share Photo" icon.
5. Select BBCode and then use the dropdown to select the size of the photo.
6. Now copy the full link that is given and paste the text in your thread.

IMGUR - free

1. Go to https://imgur.com/
2. Sign in or create a free account
3. Click on "New Post"
4. Upload the photo you want to share
5. Hover your mouse over the photo and click on the "..." and then on "Get Share Links"
6. Copy the link for BBCode and paste the text in your thread.
