Front Wheel Bearing Replacement

Where is best place to buy front wheel bearing replacement parts for 86 CJ7? Passenger side bearings disintegrated during flat tow, even rotor and spindle are damaged and must be replaced. Video is available of disassembly and damage on YouTube if you are interested (5 short videos of 45 sec to 1.5 min, titles are: "CJ7 front wheel bearing 1 001", "CJ7 front wheel bearing 2 001", "CJ7 front wheel bearing 3 001", etc)

Collins Brother Jeep will have everything you need. O'Reilly and Autozone both carry the bearings, but usually not the spindle.

In Garland A&W bearing or motion industries. Take the old ones and they will match them up. They will be Timkin or Bower not the Chinese made that the parts store sells. They will also be about half the price of the parts store. Both places also sell a lithium (sp) grease that is high pressure and water resistant. Really good stuff but about $12 a pint.

lsjc has an account with oreily and you can save a little money . just tell them lsjc account . based in lewisville . if the account isnt in the computer have them load it . somethings you save a bunch and some stuff only a little but it adds up as much crap as we buy. its good for parts for anything not just jeep parts . oil , antifreeze and stuff like that too
