  • Cooling Question

I am starting to get the work done on my xj to make a good trail rig and part of this transformation is the weak cooling system. In searching for radiators I've found all kinds and was curious if any one has any experiance with a one row radiator? I've found this one http://www.alumrad.com/dblpass.html It looks like it will have much better flow. I called and they said it runs cooler but never know when you talk direct.

TJs sure cool nicely with the aluminum core, oval capillary factory radiator.

Got with a 2 row radiator. Any kind of metal would be a good idea. Also, think about upgrading your water pump and thermo housing to allow for better flow. I changed all of that out on mine, and it runs perfectly cool.
