Camping at the Park

Superlift ORV Park offers both tent and RV camp sites nestled in beautiful shaded hardwoods. Many sites border one of our numerous spring-fed creeks. Tent sites include pea-gravel tent pads and fire rings; some have picnic tables. RV sites include electrical / water hookups and fire rings. Our modern restroom facilities house private showers and a clothes washer / dryer. The Park store is stocked with snacks and goodies, plus most anything else you may need, including firewood, personal items and emergency vehicle repair items.

RV sites are available at $20.00 per night.
Tent sites are available at $5.00 per night.
Cost is $100/night with a $50 deposit (sleeps 4)
We suggest that you reserve your site in advance. Call the park office during normal business hours to reserve your camping spot. or will be required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Please check here periodically!

Q: When do we meet?
A: We'll meet at 8:30 am and leave for the trails when your group is ready or about 9:00am. Please have your tires aired down and all the fuel you will need for the day.

Q: What do we do about lunch?
A: Please bring your lunch with you on the trails and a couple of folding chairs. It may not always be handy to come back to the office area. In that case your trail leader will probably want to stop along the trails at a scenic spot or overlook to have lunch.

Q: Will there be wheeling Friday and Sunday?
A: Our main group signup is for our main trails day which is Saturday. There will be some folks wheeling Friday and you can form up with a group of Jeeps on your own. Meet in front of the park office. There will also be groups forming at noon Friday for those that drive up Friday morning. Sunday morning smaller groups will be forming or you can go back out with your group from Saturday. See meeting times above.

Q: How long does it take to get to Hot Springs?
A: About 5 hours from Dallas

Q: We are staying at the Travelier can we park our tow rig there?
A: Because of the size of the fenced in and dead end parking lot at the Travelier there is not room to park any tow rigs with trailers at the hotel. There is plenty of room at Superlift Park to leave your rig there and drive your Jeep or pickup back and forth to the hotel. The parking lot at Superlift will be open as early as Thursday night. With LSJC people camping at the park and our Jeeps coming and going I have never had any problems. There is some limited amount of truck and trailer parking at the Rodeway and Knights Inn.

Q.What do I need to bring for my Jeep?
A:
*You need a tow strap with no metal hooks on the ends
*You will need to bring a good spare tire.
*You will need the tools to change a tire (jack and lug wrench)
*A CB radio would be really handy but not absolutely necessary
*You will need to have strong tow hooks on the front and rear of your Jeep
*You will need tools to disconnect your front sway bars
*You will need to have a good air gauge and some means to air down your tires
