For the people that like to fish!!

Personally I'm not a fisherman. I alway thought it was easier to go the store and get fish sticks or Long John Silvers.

But I know a lot of people do enjoy it. New Mexico has hatcheries they stock the rivers with trout.

I know the fishing in New Mexico is some of the best in the country. People come from all over to fish New Mexico. You can fish the river that runs through town or June Bug Campground and Fawn Lakes Campground are good. Other places that has great fishing (besides the river) is Cabresto Lake and Goose Lake. We will be Jeeping up to those.

You can pick up a non-resident licence at

      Williams Trading Post
      306 High St
      Red River N.M.

Since it's an official run, can we come in our 4Runner? I don't want to trailer my TJ all the way to NM (if I still have it by then).
                97 TJ, 4 squirrels and the awesome AX-5, Sunray 9" axles, 37" Toyo's.

It's usually a mix of CB and GMRS.
