  • Need a Locksmith

I have a set of half doors with locks installed. I need a locksmith to make me a set of keys with out taking it all apart.
Anybody know a locksmith that won't charge arm and a leg for it.

In order for a locksmith to make a key, I think you will have to remove the cylinder from the door. He will have to disassemble it and measure the tumblers inside the cylinder.

That would be a bummer; I don't really want to disassemble my doors.

Locksmith next to my office just made me a set of keys for a desk that had locks on it. Did not need to remove anything. He hand made a key then made me a set of regular keys for it. It was $20 for the fitment.

using a good locksmith you might get it matched to your ignition key. Try Old Town Locksmith in Lewisville just south of mainstreet on Mill. With half doors is it worth locking up?

Not really, but the locks are there and it would be great if they are functional. Moreover Jeep is at Huffines for last two days and I may not get it until tomorrow so just looking for some Jeep project to do

I don't ever lock my doors. I would rather have my stuff stolen than someone cutting open my windows AND stealing my stuff.

A locksmith is always the best option when you face issues with the home door lock or car door locks.

Google is the best place to find any locksmith in your area, search there and get the best firm.
