Karl I corrected the spelling and size on some of my suggetions. You have all the options for the rear axle the same as the front axle. For instance hi steer and rear steer is on both...that would be double points.

Wouldn't that be for rear steer?

OK, I'll have to admit I know exactly why the Bird Cage.
Since I'm only the facilitator, I will now add 50 points for a Rear Bird Cage.

Bought rockcrawler -- minus one gazillion points

Built (yourself) rockcrawler -- plus one million gazillion points

For every modification done with your own labor (not your buddies at a beer-a-thon) you get triple points.

See how stupid this can get?

2 ------- I am one of those folks. I have had friends and aquaintances that have blown more ARB's apart than Detroits....(not to mention leaky lines etc.)

1a) Most stock automatics have problems on severe hills, they don't get enough fluid to operate.
1b) I can make my 5 spd manual barely move just fine and with the engine idling, most stock automatics take a lot of rpm to over come the resistance then they can break traction and then spin the tires to fast not to mention all the heat they generate. I have no problem operating the pedals.
All things considered, Auto vs Manual may be more of an "opinion" item then something that can be given different "rater" points.

                                2) I know some early ARB's had issues on reliability but that was resolved a long time ago.
Are you talking about the vehicles with large tires and high horsepower?

To me I think it is much better to be able to unlock as neeed and make a tight turn, reliability has not been an issue in any of the rigs I know runnning them, including mine. that is why I rate them equal if not the ARB higher.
