This is a super clean Jeep that has been lightly wheeled over the years. Several trips to Colorado and a few Jeep Jamboree trips as well. Those of you who know me, know I take great care of our Jeeps and this one is no exception. This is a one owner Jeep and it has never been wrecked. This Jeep came from the factory with just about everything you could get on a Rubicon and it is a great Jeep to drive every day or out on the trails. I still have my 2500HD for now. It will be up for sale soon though. I still wanted a truck but since I won't be trailering Jeeps around anymore I don't need my big truck..

That stings a bit because the HD has been the best truck I have ever owned.

The new truck is a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison.

Yes Lisa and I are retiring the CJ from trail duty. It’s had a great run and we are going to continue enjoying it with the family and grandkids doing things that are easier on Lisa and me. Physically wheeling has just become to hard to recover from. I started Jeeping and wheeling in 1982 when I bought my first new CJ-7. That’s 40 years of Jeeps and wheeling. Is there a pension plan for wheeling?

You got to do one more Hot Springs trip with us. It would be the same without wheeling with you one more time. You and Lisa will be missed on the trails! I understand the physical aspect. I am a little ahead of you and I am wore out just working on mine. Sore for three days afterward.

Nice of you to say and we will miss seeing everyone on the trails as well. The wrenching part is also part of this decision so I understand how you feel. Can’t make Hot Springs… we sold our big trailer already and we have a new grand baby due that same week. Life is bring changes it has a way of doing that.

I totally understand. The last time we wheeled together was a week before my grandaughter was born. She is now 3 and a half and got a grandson who will be a year next month. It has been too long my friend.
